Whiteside & Goldberg announces it is representing and investigating claims on behalf of individuals who may have been affected by a hidden camera discovered in a women's dressing room at a TJ Maxx store in Machesney Park, Illinois.

CHICAGO - PennZone -- According to law enforcement reports, a store manager allegedly placed a recording device inside a women's dressing room at the location. The device was discovered after a customer reported seeing what appeared to be a camera. Authorities have indicated that individuals who used the dressing room between May 1, 2025 and February 28, 2026 may have been impacted.

The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating the incident and is asking anyone who may have used the dressing room during this time period to come forward.

"This type of alleged conduct represents a serious invasion of privacy and a breach of trust," said a representative of Whiteside & Goldberg. "Individuals have a fundamental right to privacy, especially in places like dressing rooms. Our firm is committed to helping victims understand their rights and pursue appropriate legal action."
