CEP-240 Silicone Primer Boston Industrial Solutions, Inc.
WOBURN, Mass. - PennZone -- Boston Industrial Solutions, a leading innovator in specialty coatings, inks, and industrial material solutions, introduces Citrine® CEP-240 Silicone Primer for pre-treating surfaces to bond liquid silicone rubber to epoxy, metals, ceramics, glass, and other materials.

The Citrine® CEP-240 for bonding liquid silicone rubber (LSR) to epoxy facilitates permanent adhesion enhancing overall finish performance and longevity. It can also be used for subsequently vulcanized solid and liquid silicone elastomers (HCR/HTV, peroxide curing). Once cured, this one-component primer forms a rigid film of silicone resin on the material which provides an excellent seal against moisture and weather elements.

Key features of the Citrine® CEP-240 Silicone Primer include:
  • Chemical and environmental resistance
  • User-friendly with smooth, consistent application characteristics
  • Enhances performance and long-term durability
  • High solids concentration makes it possible to dilute it in organic solvents.
  • Shear Strength:11KG/ C㎡
  • Temperature tolerance:-60°C~180℃ /  (-76°F ~ 356°F)
  • Break down Voltage (4mm silicone sleeve) : 30KV/C㎡)
  • Suitable for industrial, manufacturing, and specialty applications

"Our goal is to provide customers with solutions that improve reliability, efficiency, and product performance," said Bonaventure Mutuku, COO of Boston Industrial Solutions, Inc.
