LOS ANGELES - PennZone -- LOS ANGELES, CA – In her new nonfiction release, The 24 Hour Currency: 5 Principles to Revolutionize Your Relationship with Time, author Jennifer F. Arthur explores how the way people use their time shapes the quality and fulfillment of their lives.

According to the CDC, the average life expectancy in the U.S. is 81 years for women and 75 for men. Arthur points to another sobering reality: many people reach the end of life regretting they did not live authentically or pursue what mattered most to them. Her book asks readers to consider a powerful question: if time were currency and everyone received the same 24-hour daily allotment, how would we spend it?

Arthur argues that time is the ultimate equalizer. Regardless of background, status, or wealth, everyone has the same number of hours each day. The difference lies in how those hours are used. While success is often measured financially, Arthur believes fulfillment can also come through achieving personal goals, pursuing purpose, or spending meaningful time with loved ones.

The inspiration for the book came in 2020 after Arthur's aunts asked how she managed to accomplish so much following the completion of her first novel, Souls by the Sea. Reflecting on the question led her to realize that productivity is rooted not only in time management, but also in values, priorities, and purpose.

Blending practical strategies with reflective life principles, The 24 Hour Currency encourages readers to examine their mindset around time, distinguish between what they can and cannot control, and protect themselves from what Arthur calls "time bandits." The book also offers actionable techniques for planning, organizing, and using time more intentionally.

"My hope," says Arthur, "is that this book will inspire people to step out of fear and live a life that is powerful, productive, peaceful, and filled with purpose."

The 24 Hour Currency: 5 Principles to Revolutionize Your Relationship with Time officially launched May 27, 2026.
