YARDLEY, Pa. - PennZone -- Makefield Women's Association (MWA) hosted its annual beneficiary meeting and donated $24,000 to local non-profits.
Each year, through a nominating and voting process, MWA members select a group of local nonprofits as Annual Beneficiaries. With these organizations in mind, MWA hosts fundraising events and collects donations for the year. Each April, proceeds are distributed to the beneficiaries to support their continued service and contributions to the community.
The 2025 recipients were:
A Woman's Place - Bucks County's only domestic violence shelter.
Family Service Association, Bucks County Homeless Shelter - based in Levittown, PA, provides homeless families with critical services.
Bucks County Housing Group: Penndel Community Food Pantry - serves our most vulnerable population.
