HANOVER, Pa. - PennZone -- A powerful new chapter in youth development is unfolding in Hanover, PA, as the Champion Center for Leadership and Workforce Development (CCLWD) prepares to expand its impact this August. Designed to provide real-world mentorship, apprenticeship programs, and leadership development, the Champion Center represents a community-led collaboration built on a shared mission: to prepare and empower the next generation of the local workforce.
The Champion Center reached a major milestone with the successful completion of Phase One, which included site demolition and the build-out of the Training Leaders Through Athletics (TLA) and Everyday Champions facility spaces. TLA leverages the power of sports to shape leaders and build character through mentorship and training. A key part of this growth takes place in the Leadership Classroom, where the Everyday Champion Curriculum provides a strong foundation for developing leaders across the diverse industries represented at the Champion Center.

Backed by a growing coalition of local businesses, civic leaders, educators, and organizations, the Champion Center reflects the region's deep commitment to equipping young adults with the tools they need to thrive.
"This project is about coming alongside young people in our community to build for the future," said Loni Smith, CEO of Hanover Auto Team and one of many local advocates championing the project. "What started as a vision has quickly grown into a united effort across our community. The Champion Center gives Hanover a central place to invest in our youth and build a stronger future together."
The Champion Center extends sincere thanks to all those who have contributed time, resources, and leadership to help bring this initiative to life. The success of Phase One is a testament to what is possible when a community comes together with purpose. Phase Two is now underway, with efforts focused on relocating the Hanover Auto Team's Tech Pathways program from its current location on Dart Drive to the new center. With partnerships being finalized and preparations in motion, the center is on track to welcome students later this summer.
