The nonprofit aims to transform challenges into opportunities through creativity, leadership, and collaboration with community support.

EASTON, Pa. - PennZone -- JOSHWAY, a nonprofit dedicated to equipping young people with the tools they need to thrive in today's complex digital world, is excited to introduce itself to the Lehigh Valley community. Founded in 2023 by David Robertson in memory of his brother, Joshua Devon Robertson, JOSHWAY has been actively building programs designed to help youth navigate social and digital challenges while fostering creativity, leadership, and personal growth.

"JOSHWAY was created to honor Joshua's memory and his passion for art, music, and creativity," said Robertson. "He believed in the power of artistic expression to inspire and heal. Through this organization, we aim to provide young people with opportunities, mentorship, and support."

The nonprofit's mission is to empower youth by offering innovative, hands-on programs that turn digital stress into a tool for success. JOSHWAY focuses on holistic growth, tackling key issues like mental health, social pressures, and leadership development while fostering partnerships with other nonprofits and community organizations to maximize its reach and impact.

JOSHWAY has developed various programs designed to inspire young minds and equip them with the skills needed to excel in school, careers, and their communities. Programs include:
  • Educational Workshops: Covering topics such as financial literacy, digital safety, mindfulness, and career readiness.
  • Creative Exploration: Encouraging self-expression through art, music, and digital storytelling.
  • Leadership Development: Preparing youth with skills like visionary thinking, collaboration, and resilience.
  • Parent Engagement: Hosting workshops to help families understand the challenges their children face and how to support them.
JOSHWAY is excited to announce the opening of its first physical location in Easton—a dedicated space for collaboration where subject matter experts in financial literacy, substance abuse awareness, mental health, and career paths can share their valuable lessons with area nonprofits serving youth. This new hub will showcase our vision of fostering meaningful interactions between educators and community partners.

The organization is also working closely with local nonprofits, schools, and community outreach programs to create a network of support that enhances the effectiveness of its initiatives.

As JOSHWAY expands its impact, the organization is actively seeking community support to help finalize the new space and sustain its growing programs. Individuals and businesses can contribute by sponsoring program elements such as collaborative workspaces, technology tools, and creative learning resources.

"This is more than just a nonprofit—it's a movement," said Robertson. "We're building a space where young people can find their voice, develop confidence, and unlock their full potential."
