Beachfront Lookout Recognized for Excellence in Modular Coastal Home Design

EAST LYME, Conn. & WESTERLY, R.I. - PennZone -- Connecticut Valley Homes, an award-winning custom home builder serving Connecticut, Rhode Island, Block Island, and Fishers Island, has once again been honored with the Home of the Year Award under 2,500 square feet by the Modular Home Builders Association (MHBA). The 2025 award recognizes the firm's exceptional design and construction of its Beachfront Lookout, a modern coastal home built using precision off-site modular construction.

The Home of the Year award is presented annually to recognize outstanding achievement in modular home design and construction. Entries are submitted by builders and manufacturers nationwide and evaluated for design, innovation, quality, and overall excellence.

Beachfront Lookout:

This 1,980-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bath coastal retreat was designed to embrace its oceanfront surroundings while delivering durability, efficiency, and low-maintenance living. The home features a bright, open floor plan that preserves sweeping water views from nearly every room. Engineered for its waterfront setting, the home is elevated above base flood elevation and includes impact-rated windows and doors for enhanced protection. Two expansive outdoor decks constructed with weather-resistant materials extend the living space outdoors.
