ASR Media Productions New Owner Fig Lehigh Valley
The two brands share a joint mission of telling important local stories and celebrating the Lehigh Valley.

HELLERTOWN, Pa. - PennZone -- Video production company ASR Media Productions (ASR) announced today that it is the new owner and operator of Fig Lehigh Valley (Fig). The new venture marks a collaboration between two businesses dedicated to storytelling and uplifting small businesses and nonprofits in Lehigh Valley. ASR will immediately begin producing and distributing the quarterly magazine, with the first issue scheduled for late summer 2023.

ASR produces quality video content, ranging from corporate and nonprofit overviews, exciting event coverage, stunning drone footage, and compelling employee and client testimonials. The team is also the creative force behind The PEAK TV, a 30-minute Emmy® award-winning television program that shares local stories of health and wellness, lifestyle, and community. ASR's founder, president, and owner, Ashley Russo, is pleased to welcome Fig into the ASR portfolio. Russo is especially eager to collaborate with and support local businesses, photographers, designers, and writers to bring Fig to life each season. Upcoming issues will continue to embody Fig's core values, celebrating local shopping, dining, arts, education, history, and community.. With a focus on local content, Fig's heart will remain unchanged.

"This launches a very exciting new chapter for ASR," said Ashley Russo. "We can't wait to explore and embrace this new avenue of sharing important, quality stories from the Lehigh Valley. It's different from anything we've done before but also very similar. There is a great synergy with ASR's mission of community involvement, and we're honored to serve the Lehigh Valley in this new way."

Fig celebrates independent businesses in the Lehigh Valley with a powerful mix of print, digital, and social media. Deborah Brandt, owner of Fig Industries, first founded Fig in 2005 in her home city of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with a vision of city revitalization and a heart for small business. For the past decade, Fig has been telling stories of small businesses in the Lehigh Valley through a thoughtful, curated print magazine and a strong social media presence. Its mission aligns perfectly with the values that have guided ASR for the past ten years: collaboration, a passion for community, lending a hand to small businesses, and lifting the voices of nonprofits.

Brandt commented on the new partnership: "At Fig Industries, we believe in the power of creativity and collaboration to better a community. Partnering with ASR will not only fulfill our goal of passing Fig into the hands of another small business that cares deeply about its community, but it will also expand the value Fig provides to small businesses and to our valued readership. We are thrilled to see Fig soar in the Lehigh Valley!"
