PHILADELPHIA - PennZone -- Feldman Shepherd is pleased to announce that partner Patricia M. Giordano was honored by the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ) with its Gerald B. O'Connor Award at its 8th Annual Awards Dinner on February 27, 2025.

The award honors the memory of Gerald B. O'Connor, an extraordinary trial lawyer who earned the respect of colleagues and adversaries alike for his brilliant skills and professionalism as well as his humanity. It is presented to veteran current or former NJAJ members who, like Gerald B. O'Connor, have had a stellar legal career and have exhibited skill, creativity and professionalism as a trial attorney.

Giordano served as NJAJ President for the 2023 through 2024 term and was the sixth female president of NJAJ since its founding in the late 1940s. She currently serves as its Immediate Past President. Giordano previously served in a number of executive leadership positions at NJAJ including as President-Elect and 1st Vice President. She has co-chaired NJAJ's annual Boardwalk Seminar® and is a frequent lecturer at its Boardwalk and Meadowlands CLE programs, and presently serves as co-chair of NJAJ's Medical Malpractice Committee and Legislative Committee. She is also a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, among other posts. In 2018, Giordano was appointed by Chief Justice Stuart Rabner as the NJAJ representative to the New Jersey Supreme Court Women in the Courts Committee, which is now known as the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Gender in the Courts.
