PHILADELPHIA - PennZone -- Feldman Shepherd is pleased to announce that partner Bethany R. Nikitenko has been appointed to the Diversity Committee of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association (PTLA).
PTLA is comprised of civil and criminal litigation attorneys and is the oldest trial lawyer organization in Pennsylvania. The organization's members are dedicated to the preservation of the American justice system and the protection of an individual's right of access to the courts. The Diversity Committee works to promote diversity in firms throughout the state. Among its key initiatives, it communicates with diverse bar associations and with the region's law schools to provide students with information regarding the work of trial lawyers.
Nikitenko presently serves on PTLA's Board of Directors and previously served as committee chair for PTLA's Small & Solo Practitioners Committee.
At Feldman Shepherd, she represents individuals and families who have been catastrophically injured by medical malpractice, auto and motor vehicle accidents, unsafe buildings, defective products and sexual abuse. See https://feldmanshepherd.com/our-team/bethany-nikitenko/

"A more diverse plaintiffs' bar makes us better advocates. I am committed to increasing diversity at every level of our profession by creating opportunities, developing future leaders and ensuring that different perspectives and experiences have a meaningful voice in how we serve our clients," said Nikitenko.
"PTLA's commitment to increasing diversity among trial lawyers will be enhanced by Bethany's participation on the Diversity Committee," said Co-Managing Partner Alan M. Feldman. "Her constructive and goal-focused approach to any activity she is involved with will help bring about real progress in this important endeavor."
