PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Philadelphia labor, employment, workers' compensation, and family law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson is pleased to announce that partner Michelle "Micky" Devitt has been chosen to serve as president of the Philadelphia chapter of the Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA), an organization for professionals in industrial relations and human resources. Having previously served as a LERA board member, Devitt will lead the chapter through summer 2026.

Devitt has deep experience in labor law, gained during years of work advocating on behalf of workers' rights, voting rights and poverty relief, as well as serving as an attorney for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) for more than a decade. She speaks and writes frequently about the current political forces arrayed against working families, including most recently in articles in Fortune and Forbes magazines.

LERA offers networking and development opportunities for professionals interested in all aspects of labor and employment relations. It is a nonprofit organization that encourages research in labor, employment, and the workplace, including employer and employee organization, human resources, labor markets, income security, and other related fields.
