HANOVER, Pa. - PennZone -- A new seafood restaurant and craft brewery is preparing to come to Downtown Hanover this summer. Lighthouse 153, known for its fresh seafood and New England-inspired flavors, plans to open its newest location in mid-July 2026 at 34 Broadway, Hanover, PA 17331, the former home of Something Wicked Brewing Company.
Owned by Jessica and Matthew Krumrine of Windsor, PA, Lighthouse 153 first opened as a counter service restaurant on Franklin Street in Red Lion in 2025. Since then, the restaurant has built a loyal following with its fresh seafood offerings and signature lobster rolls, which remain its number-one seller.
Matthew Krumrine is also a longtime former resident of the Hanover area, having lived in the community for many years until he and Jessica met. That connection to the area adds a meaningful layer to the couple's decision to bring Lighthouse 153 to downtown Hanover.

The Hanover location will feature a full-service restaurant and craft brewery, bringing the Lighthouse 153 experience to a new community.
"Visiting Lighthouse 153 isn't just about the amazing food or the craft beer folks are coming to drink," said co-owner Jessica Krumrine. "It's about having an experience of excellent service and feeling like they might have just walked from Main Street into a beachside bar."
While their fresh seafood will be the star of the menu, Lighthouse 153 will also offer a variety of non-seafood options to ensure there is something for everyone. Guests can expect a menu inspired by coastal cuisine, featuring favorites like lobster rolls and crab cakes, along with additional selections for those who prefer other flavors.
To add to the excitement, Lighthouse 153 is keeping a familiar face from the building's brewing history. Josh Kinard, the brewer who previously crafted beers for Something Wicked Brewing Company, has joined the Lighthouse 153 team and will oversee the brewing operations at the Hanover location. Guests can look forward to the lineup of locally crafted beers brewed on-site.
