OWINGS MILLS, Md. - PennZone -- Today, the National Minority Health Association (NMHA) (https://www.thenmha.org). announced two important additions to its advisory board and leadership team.
Dyan Bryson will join the newly formed NMHA Industry Advisory Board and Victor Morrison will be installed as Vice President of Industry Relations. Both will focus on developing trusted relationships in underserved communities, improving clinical trial diversity, and maximizing the use of health tech, among other programs and initiatives as part of the NMHAs expansive health equity mission. In her advisory board role, Dyan will provide valuable insights into the pharma industry, assist with developing community leaders, author position papers, present articles espousing the forward-thinking changes needed to achieve health equity, and liaison with the industry on behalf of the association. Victor will liaison with industry leaders and executives to develop and forge new ideas, opportunities, and relationships for the NMHA with pharma, payers, pharmacies, the medtech industry, and employers.
DYAN BRYSON
Dyan is a patient engagement thought leader and strategist who has been leading the charge for community-driven health equity since 2007. After spending 20+ years in traditional sales, sales leadership, and marketing at Merck and Ciba-Geigy (now Novartis) Dyan has spent the last 15 years laser-focused on patient engagement, patient advocacy, and enhancing diversity in clinical trials. Dyan has designed technology (apps/platforms) that collect patient-reported outcomes (PROs) and developed analytical models to garner the insights necessary to ensure patient centricity from pre-IND through commercialization. She is also credited with developing and executing the first expansive pharma initiative designed specifically to engage with diverse communities and successfully deliver a significant ROI for commercial therapies. "I look forward to adding my voice to the NMHA's important mission and channeling all of my experience into advancing and championing health equity," said Dyan.

VICTOR MORRISON
Victor brings over 20 years of pharmaceutical sales, sales management, account management, and marketing management experience with a track record for innovation, leadership, and results, and an additional ten years on the bleeding edge of medtech gaining strategic, product development, marketing, business development, and start-up experience as he focused on commercializing advanced conversational AI for patient engagement. Victor's passion for health equity in clinical trials was ignited more than two decades ago when he led an institutional sales team whose geography included Jackson Mississippi, where he was exposed to the ongoing work of the Jackson Heart Study, In his role, Victor will help guide the NMHA within the health tech and pharma industries and help ensure that NMHA programs and advocacy are accurate, effective and advance the mission of health equity within the industry. "Joining the NMHA represents an extraordinary opportunity to impact DEI in health care in a significant way. I am extremely confident that the vision we will be executing will be the crowning achievement of my career in healthcare," said Victor.
