The awards highlight companies and organizations that have made tangible efforts and achieved documented results in supporting and empowering women in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - PennZone -- Social T Marketing & PR (Social T), a Lehigh Valley-based boutique marketing firm, has been named a recipient of a 2025 Empowering Women Award, presented by Lehigh Valley Business and Central Penn Business Journal. The award highlights companies and organizations that have made tangible efforts and achieved documented results in supporting and empowering women in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.
"Empowering women is part of our DNA, and this award is a testament to Social T Marketing & PR's commitment to helping women grow, lead and thrive," said Tina Hasselbusch, company owner and president. "It's an honor to be recognized alongside other organizations doing meaningful work to advance and uplift women across our region. We look forward to celebrating the occasion together in August."

All Empowering Women awardees were evaluated based on the organization's hiring and promotion of women, advocacy for women's causes both internally and externally, efforts to cultivate the next generation of women professionals, and letters of recommendation. The honorees were selected by a panel of judges made up of the Lehigh Valley Business and Central Penn Business Journal leadership teams.
Social T supports women throughout the region by amplifying the voices and missions of women-led organizations. Team members are actively involved on local boards and committees, including the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce's Women's Business Council, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley's Women United, Allentown YWCA's The Perfect Fit and Girl Scouts of Eastern PA. Additionally, Social T's team champions volunteer efforts and partnerships that create a more equitable Lehigh Valley. The agency is annually involved in United Way's Day of Caring, and participated in the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley's 2025 Volunteer Challenge, partnering with the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center to restock and reorganize its Care Cupboard, as well as paint the 11 Stripe Rainbow Pride Flag on the Center's garage door.

Readers of Lehigh Valley Business voted Social T the Best Social Media Firm in 2019, 2020, 2023 and 2024, and Best Public Relations Firm in 2020, 2023 and 2024.
The Empowering Women Awards will be held in conjunction with the Women's Leadership Summit on Aug. 12 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading, 701 Penn Street in Reading. The Empowering Women Awards celebration will begin at 11 a.m. Attendance is limited, with sponsors receiving priority access.
