WASHINGTON, Nov. 22, 2024 ~ SoundExchange, the leading digital performance rights organization, has announced that Shaboozey has been named as the recipient of the SoundExchange Breakout Artist Award. This prestigious honor recognizes the artist's remarkable success in 2024, highlighted by his chart-topping single "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" and his latest album, Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going. Shaboozey has also made a name for himself through collaborations with industry heavyweights such as Beyoncé on her country album Cowboy Carter.

Michael Huppe, President and CEO of SoundExchange, praised Shaboozey's unique blend of hip-hop and country music, stating that he has "literally changed the game." Huppe also commended the artist for his ability to create catchy hooks and relatable storytelling in his music, as well as delivering memorable live performances. He will continue to make waves in the music industry as he headlines this year's Thanksgiving Halftime Show powered by Verizon at the Detroit Lions' annual holiday football game, airing on November 28 on CBS. His North American tour will conclude on December 16 in Philadelphia, with plans for a European tour in March of 2025.
