PHILADELPHIA - PennZone -- PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Philly ECM Programming is introducing its mobile vehicle module programming and setup service for automotive repair shops in Philadelphia and surrounding areas of Bucks, Montgomery and Delaware counties.

The business brings programming equipment to repair facilities to perform supported procedures on-site. Services cover select engine control modules (ECM), powertrain control modules (PCM), body control modules (BCM), transmission control modules (TCM) and anti-lock brake system (ABS) modules.

Depending on the vehicle and replacement module, work may include OEM software programming, configuration, initialization, synchronization and required relearn procedures. Some supported replacement modules require setup and synchronization, while others require a full software programming procedure.

Philly ECM Programming serves repair shops only. The repair facility handles diagnosis, module removal and installation, and any necessary mechanical repairs. Service eligibility depends on the vehicle's year, make, model, module type and replacement-part compatibility.

Shops requesting service should provide vehicle and module details, the reason for replacement and whether the replacement module is new or used.
