The Clearfield auto shop is sponsoring a free community meal on Thanksgiving Day, and everyone is welcome
CLEARFIELD, Pa. - PennZone -- Hunter's Garage wants to make sure no one in the area goes without a Thanksgiving meal this year. The Clearfield auto repair shop is sponsoring a free community meal on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26. The food comes from The Small Batch, a kitchen at 225 Main Street in Grampian.
The Small Batch is run by husband and wife Melony and Ryan. They make everything from scratch. They've held free community meals before, and people showed up in a big way. At their last one, a huge rush hit at 2 p.m. and the food ran out. This time, with Hunter's Garage on board, they can reach even more people.
"What you do for our community is beautiful," Hunter's Garage told Melony and Ryan when the news came out. "Everyone, please reserve your meal early so no one goes without!"
Everyone Is Welcome
The meal is free, and anyone can have one. The only ask is that people save a meal ahead of time. That way, the kitchen knows how much food to make.
