"When we speak of hard-working musicians, Independent recording artist Matthew John is unquestionably synonymous with this term. After years of hard work and indigenous struggles for indie artists, John forges on, never giving up."

NORRISTOWN, Pa. - PennZone -- Matthew John has been through many trials and tribulations most of his independent music career.  None of which have distracted him from his dream – Independent Music Success.

Matthew has loved music for as long as he can remember and dabbled in it all along. It was not until 2013 when he decided it was time to make the considerable push and take music seriously and pursue it as his career. It was then that John recorded his first single "You are There" his mantra for going after his dream and never giving up.  The song is a highly inspirational piece emphasizing the need for folks in life to "Never Give Up' and taking a leap of faith – defying the limits along the way.

In 2017, Matthew recorded his debut studio EP which contained two brand new songs, "Shine For Me " and "Let's Begin Again" The EP also included remixes of  "You Are There" and "Reach For The Stars".   "Shine for Me" is a song that was Inspired by the loss of his beloved Grandfather, his biggest fan, from Alzheimer's disease.  The inspiration for the song was further magnified by the loss of his father to cancer.  The song gave Matthew comfort by having shining stars in Heaven and someone to guide and love him along the way.
