The September 4th experience will equip young women with faith, confidence, practical tools, and resources to pursue purpose without compromise.

PHILADELPHIA - PennZone -- PHILADELPHIA, PA — Girls Anthem will host The Locker Room Experience Pop-Up on Friday, September 4th, 2026, bringing female athletes together for an evening centered on faith, identity, confidence, mental wellness, and purpose.

The Locker Room Experience is Girls Anthem's athlete-focused offering, created specifically for female athletes navigating the unique pressures of competition, performance, expectations, and life beyond the sport. The experience provides a space for athletes to step away from the pressure to perform and engage in meaningful conversations about who they are beyond their athletic ability.

Through faith-centered conversation, interactive experiences, encouragement, and practical resources, The Locker Room Experience Pop-Up will equip female athletes to strengthen their identity, develop confidence, navigate pressure, and pursue their goals without compromising who they are.

"For many female athletes, the pressure doesn't end when the game does," said Mya K. Douglas, founder of Girls Anthem. "There are expectations around performance, appearance, academics, relationships, and what comes next. The Locker Room was created to give them a space where they can breathe, be encouraged, have honest conversations, and be reminded that their identity is bigger than their sport."

The September 4th experience will bring together female athletes for an evening designed to foster connection, encouragement, and personal growth while creating an environment where they can explore the intersection of faith, identity, confidence, and athletic performance.

Girls Anthem is currently seeking community support to help make The Locker Room Experience Pop-Up possible. Individuals, businesses, organizations, and community partners can support the event through financial donations, sponsorships, donated products or services, or other contributions that will help create a meaningful experience for the athletes attending.
