The unique solution from Secure Care Products features wireless Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology that enables the most precise location accuracy for automating contact tracing and promoting proper social distancing practices in the workplace.
CONCORD, N.H. - PennZone -- New Hampshire-based company Secure Care Products LLC is excited to announce a new solution focused on getting health care facilities and businesses back to work safely. Secure Care Products saw the disproportionate impact COVID-19 has had on long-term care facilities across the country and knew that there was a need for technology solutions to support efforts to reduce spread and risk within these vulnerable populations. "It's a matter of resident safety, staff safety, and also business liability for the facilities serving these seniors," said Harold Baldwin, President of Secure Care Products. Using its 40 years' experience in wireless RF technology, the company has created an automated process for contact tracing and social distance monitoring. This innovative solution works to support the needs of businesses and health care facilities to mitigate risk and enhance employee safety. With its ENVisionIT® real-time location solution (RTLS), Secure Care Products is ready to help companies get "back to business."

Using a combination of hardware and software, a facility can maintain a constant, automated log of all contacts that occur within a set distance and time criteria. Real-time alerts via a mobile app can support in-the-moment notifications, and historical location data can be used to quickly identify contacts for notification/isolation as needed.
Given local, state, and federal guidance, we know that social distancing and contact tracing are critical components of creating a safer work environment and reducing the spread of coronavirus in the workplace. According to Marc Chandonnet, Director of Sales and Marketing, "Many RTLS technologies use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), but these technologies are useful for room-level accuracy. Ultra-wideband technology provides a greater level of granularity and therefore a far more accurate ability to identify potential contact risk."
The ability to alert immediately upon a specified distance/time criteria and log contact events means a business can promote social distancing among its employees, and also perform contact tracing as needed by reviewing historical location data - all without the need for manual intervention. With the best interests of business owners and employees in mind, we believe that this technology provides a high degree of confidence to reopen safely.
