Chasing the Rainbows lights 200 landmarks pink and blue, hosts Wave of Light vigils October 15th across the country, and provides 12 free maternal mental health programs to families in all 50 states.
PHILADELPHIA - PennZone -- October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month and Chasing the Rainbows, a national 501c3 nonprofit organization, is running its most expansive national campaign to date. Every baby loss matters. Miscarriage is baby loss. Chemical pregnancy is baby loss. Ectopic pregnancy is baby loss. Embryo transfer failure is baby loss. Stillbirth is baby loss. Infant loss is baby loss. Infertility is baby loss. And every family living through any of these experiences deserves free, comprehensive support.
This October Chasing the Rainbows is lighting more than 200 landmarks and buildings pink and blue across all 50 states including landmarks like the Empire State Building, the Helmsley Building, and Niagara Falls. The Wave of Light national candlelight vigil takes place on October 15th, the International Day of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance, in communities across all 50 states at 7pm local time. The Every Baby Loss Matters national billboard campaign is running throughout October in cities nationwide. Baby Loss Awareness Week challenges are inviting families, providers, and advocates to share their stories and spread awareness. And on October 17th Chasing the Rainbows hosts An Evening Behind the Mask, its national masquerade gala raising the funds that keep every program free.

Chasing the Rainbows provides 12 completely free programs to families in all 50 states including daily virtual support groups, in-person support groups, peer mentorship, trauma therapy, an online community, yoga and meditation, care packages and guided journals, funeral assistance, the Cry it Out Loud Podcast, support system resources, community events and outreach, and CME accreditation for healthcare providers. No waiting lists. Always free.
One in four pregnancies ends in loss. One in six couples faces infertility. Over one million families experience pregnancy or infant loss every year. Twenty-one thousand experience stillbirth. Twenty-four thousand experience infant loss. Fifteen million undergo fertility treatments annually. Most leave the hospital or fertility clinic with no free mental health support waiting for them. Chasing the Rainbows is changing that nationally, permanently, and at no cost to any family.
