NEW YORK - PennZone -- The non-profit organization My Grief Angels today announced the launch of UGrief.com, the University of Grief, which provides free access to one of the most comprehensive inventories of free online grief and bereavement education courses available.
Powered by a combination of passionate volunteers and the latest artificial intelligence technologies, UGrief.com aims to empower those grieving the loss of a loved one by making grief and bereavement education accessible to anyone anywhere.
My Grief Angels is intentionally launching UGrief.com for February 14th, Valentine's Day, as a gift of support and compassion to the many people grieving the loss of a loved one on this holiday.
"Losing someone you love can be devastating and isolating," said Augusto Failde, Chief Mission Officer of My Grief Angels. "We created UGrief.com to respond to the number one suggestion made by participants in the over 500 virtual grief support groups conducted by My Grief Angels since the start of the pandemic which is that we all need to be better informed and educated for dealing with the loss of a loved one"

UGrief.com launches today with 24 Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) focused specifically on different aspects of grief, including courses on: Parental Loss, Child Loss, Spousal Loss, Suicide Survivors, Prolonged Grief Disorder, and more. The courses are completely free and self-paced.
"Our hope is that UGrief.com will help eliminate barriers to grief education and empower those in mourning to get the information and support they need," Failde said. "This is a testament to the power new technologies, like artificial intelligence, combined with passionate volunteers can have to further the mission of non-profits."
UGrief.com welcomes partnerships with other grief-focused non-profits, community organizations, and volunteers who wish to contribute informational content. To get involved or to enroll in a course, visit UGrief.com or MyGriefAngels.org.
