Hendricks earned her MPM® after years of industry service, including national governmental affairs leadership, historic PAC fundraising results, and a chapter presidency that led to Chapter Excellence and Large Chapter of the Year honors.
SAN ANTONIO - PennZone -- Lacy Hendricks, of Hendricks Property Management, has earned the Master Property Manager (MPM®) designation from the National Association of Residential Property Managers®, marking the completion of a multi-year professional journey shaped by experience, leadership, & sustained service in residential property management.
The MPM® designation is one of the highest recognitions offered by NARPM® and is only available to professionals who first earn the Residential Property Manager (RMP®) designation. Hendricks earned her RMP® designation in 2017 and completed the advanced requirements for the MPM® designation, which she received last week.
The MPM® candidacy process commonly spans five or more consecutive years and requires documentation of at least 500 unit-years of residential property management experience, reflecting long-term responsibility for managing rental homes and owner relationships. Candidates must also complete 24 hours of approved NARPM® education covering operational, financial, legal, and ethical subject areas.

Service and leadership are a central part of the designation. While a minimum of 200 elective points is required, Hendricks earned more than 400 elective points through involvement at the local, state, & national levels. A substantial portion of those credits came from her four years of service in NARPM® governmental affairs leadership, including two years as Vice Chair followed by two years as Chair.
Hendricks led fundraising efforts for the NARPM® Political Action Committee and Advocacy Fund that reached levels not previously achieved within the association. These efforts resulted in more major investors than ever before and the highest overall participation in the PAC and Advocacy Fund in the association's history.
In addition to her national service, Hendricks served as Chapter President of the San Antonio Chapter of NARPM® this year. Under the combined leadership of Hendricks and Adela Nieves, the chapter earned both Chapter Excellence and Large Chapter of the Year honors. These awards reflect collaborative leadership, strong member engagement, and consistent performance at the chapter level.

Additional requirements for the MPM® designation include attendance at multiple NARPM® conferences, completion of formal ethics training, and submission of letters of recommendation from both clients and fellow NARPM® designees.
"Earning the MPM® designation represents years of steady work and accountability in this profession," Hendricks said. "It reflects a long-term commitment to property owners, residents, and the industry."
With the completion of this designation, Lacy Hendricks joins a select group of property managers nationwide who have met the highest standards set by NARPM®.
