ExoTech, Inc., a remediation services company based in Monroe, GA, that was founded in January 2006, has been acquired by Innovative Environmental Technologies, Inc. (IET).

ExoTech has developed, designed, and implemented successful injection and soil blending applications since its inception. The incorporation of Exo Tech, Inc. into IET further expands the geographical reach of IET while adding the experience, equipment and expertise of Exo Tech, Inc's soil blending capabilities.

PIPERSVILLE, Pa. - PennZone -- "The Exo Tech acquisition expands the reach of IET's remediation services into Georgia and surrounding states," said Michael Scalzi, President of Innovative Environmental Technologies, Inc.  "Exo Tech shares our values of safety, client services and technical excellence. Exo Tech is known for their creative approach to complex environmental remediation projects."

"We are delighted by the opportunity to integrate our personnel and equipment into IET  and the opportunities this will offer to our customers.  The synergies of our companies were immediately apparent as soon as we began acquisition discussions," said Barry Rudd, the founder of Exo Tech, Inc..

Moving forward, Exo Tech, Inc. shall be integrated into the IET Remediation Services Group.  The Georgia operations will under the management of Brantley Rudd, the former Vice President of Exo Tech, Inc.

Formed in 1998, Innovative Environmental Technologies, Inc. (IET)  is the oldest and most respected remedial contractor providing patented and licensed in-situ injection services in the United States.  IET provides turn-key design and implementation services to environmental consulting companies as well as providing environmental drilling and geotechnical services.

IET Remediation Services Division - Since 1998, IET has designed and implemented over 2,500 in-situ remediation projects. IET's remediation division is committed to providing the most appropriate and cost-effective technology based solutions for a wide variety of impacted soils and groundwater. IET's sixteen (16) in-house patented, patent pending and licensed technologies allow for the in-situ treatment of chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, pesticides and heavy metals.

IET Drilling Services Division - Beginning in 2008, IET expanded its capabilities to include environmental and geotechnical drilling services to its clients.  The Drilling Services Division has expanded through organic growth and strategic acquisitions resulting in one of the country's largest and most diverse environmental contractors in the United States.  IET Drilling Services currently provides these services throughout the southeast from our North Carolina and South Carolina operations.  In January 2021, the acquisition of GEDCO Drilling Services in Irving, Texas, allowed IET to expand our services through the gulf coast as well as into surrounding states.
