Inaugural List of Companies Distinguished as Impact Sourcing Trailblazers to be Showcased in Fortune Magazine® "Change the World" Issue
WINDERMERE, Fla. - PennZone -- IAOP®, the association that brings together buyers, providers and advisors working in collaborative and strategic partnerships, today announced the launch of its Impact Sourcing Champions Index, IAOP's inaugural list of companies that have distinguished themselves as trailblazers in impact sourcing.
"Integrating responsible business practices should be top priority and central to the strategic vision of an organization's goals," said Debi Hamill, IAOP CEO. "This starts by holding ourselves to a higher standard for driving social and economic change. Through this, we can improve our planet, its people and the communities where we live and work. For this reason, we are thrilled to announce the Impact Sourcing Champions Index, which was created to support and recognize organizations—buy side, provider or advisor—that are leading the way."

To be included in the Impact Sourcing Champions Index, companies must complete an application. The index will be showcased in the September 2020 "Change the World" issue of Fortune Magazine®. Organizations included on the list will also receive a custom 2020 Impact Sourcing Champion logo for their use. The application process for the index, which is open to all members of the outsourcing community, launches today, April 1, 2020.
For years, IAOP has been committed to the promotion of impact sourcing as a transformative business model as well as in supporting IAOP members who are putting impact sourcing into action.
For those new to impact sourcing, it's an inclusive business practice that happens in the outsourcing industry when organizations intentionally hire and provide career development opportunities to people who otherwise have limited prospects for sustainable employment. The practice has been transforming business for the better and has potential to transform their lives, while also benefiting the companies that employ them and the communities where they live.
