US Congressional Candidate Peter Coe Verbica on Fixing the U.S. Healthcare System

BAY AREA, Calif. - PennZone -- On January 1, 2026, millions of Americans woke up to higher healthcare costs. Premiums jumped. Deductibles jumped. Prescription prices jumped. And working families were left holding the bag.

This didn't happen by accident.

It happened because Democrats in Washington made healthcare more expensive — and then failed to act before the damage hit.

Democrats' Broken Promises, Real Consequences

For years, Democrats promised Americans that the Affordable Care Act would make healthcare more affordable. Instead, they expanded government control, distorted insurance markets, and then let critical affordability provisions expire, fully aware that premiums would spike.

They had the votes.

They had the warnings.

They did nothing.

Now millions of families are paying more every month for the same care — or worse, being forced to drop coverage entirely.

At the same time, Democrats' policies drove:
  • Higher Medicare costs for seniors
  • Higher prescription drug prices
  • Less competition and fewer choices
This is what happens when ideology replaces economics and bureaucrats replace markets.

The Republican Plan: Affordability, Choice, Accountability

My campaign believes healthcare should work for patients — not politicians and insurance lobbyists.

We will:
  • Rein in runaway premiums and deductibles
  • Restore competition across state lines
  • Increase price transparency so families know costs before treatment
  • Hold drug companies accountable
  • Fix what Democrats broke — without turning healthcare into a government takeover
Bottom Line

Healthcare should not be a luxury.

It should not be a political experiment.

And it should not be this expensive.

Democrats promised affordability.

They delivered higher bills.

It's time for competent leadership that puts patients first and fixes the mess Washington created.  It's time for us to send Peter Coe Verbica to Washington, DC.
