Hazlehurst, Miss., Awards Inframark 10-Year Water and Wastewater Contract

Addition of Hazlehurst expands company's footprint in the Magnolia State.

HORSHAM, Pa. - PennZone -- Inframark, LLC, is pleased to announce that the City of Hazlehurst, Miss., has selected the company to provide operations and maintenance for the City's water and wastewater system, which includes two wastewater treatment plants, 10 lift stations, six wells, and collection and distribution systems. The 10-year contract, with two, five-year optional renewals, commences on Sept. 1, 2021.

"On behalf of the Board of Aldermen, the City of Hazlehurst is delighted about our newly established relationship with Inframark to provide operations and maintenance services for our water and wastewater utility," said Hazlehurst's City Clerk Pam Wilbert. "We look forward to a productive and fruitful partnership with Inframark as we tackle challenges facing our wastewater operations."

Inframark has been providing full-service public-private contracts for operation, maintenance, and management of water and wastewater treatment facilities in Mississippi for nearly 40 years. The addition of Hazlehurst ensures that Inframark will continue to maintain its strong, cost-efficient footprint in the Magnolia State, which also includes operations in several other communities.
