Allgreen Eggfest Raising Funds for The Lighthouse Foundation

MARS, Pa. - PennZone -- Grilling enthusiasts will gather for Allgreen Eggfest to share recipes, sample grilled foods, and learn from cooking demonstrations. The celebration of grilling is on September 25th, from 11am-3pm at Allgreen Outdoor Living on Route 8, and the event benefits The Lighthouse Foundation.

Both amateur and professional cooking teams will create delicious sides, meats, and desserts for tastings.  Tasters will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite cooking team, and the crowd favorite will win a prize as well as the title, "The Most Eggcellent Chef".  Cooks and tasters alike are encouraged to share techniques, tips, and recipes for cooking on the Big Green Egg.

Demonstrations on over-the-fire cooking and charcoal grilling will take place throughout the event, including a demonstration of campfire cooking by Breeo, who created the first ever smokeless fire pit.
