PHILADELPHIA - PennZone -- Brain Drain Unlimited Foundation has strengthened its legal advocacy capacity with the completion of Villanova University's Certificate in Immigration Trial Advocacy by Co-Founder Manus MacLean.

This credential was earned through Module 3 of the Villanova Interdisciplinary Immigration Studies Training for Advocates (VIISTA), a 100% online program designed to expand access to justice by training advocates to serve migrants and refugees in the U.S. immigration system. The curriculum integrates immigration law, trauma-informed care, case preparation, and courtroom advocacy—including direct examination, closing arguments, and relief eligibility assessment.

By completing all three VIISTA modules, Manus is now prepared to apply for full accreditation through the Department of Justice's Recognition & Accreditation program when serving through a recognized organization. This advancement positions Brain Drain Unlimited to deepen its support for displaced talent facing complex immigration challenges, including removal proceedings.

"Empowering talent to rebuild in America means more than guidance—it means access to skilled, ethical advocacy," said Manus MacLean. "This training allows us to serve with greater legal precision, client care, and long-term impact."

The VIISTA program was developed in partnership with JusticePower and is part of Villanova's commitment to professional education in high-impact public service fields.

Brain Drain Unlimited remains dedicated to practical, people-first support - turning displacement into contribution through mentorship, legal strategy, and community.
