Angel Soft® Delivers a Perfectly Timed Bathroom Break in First-Ever Big Game Commercial Designed to be Missed
ATLANTA, Jan. 28, 2025 ~ Angel Soft® Toilet Paper is making its highly anticipated debut during this year's Big Game, offering fans a unique and timely opportunity to take a bathroom break without missing any of the action. The brand's first-ever Big Game commercial, designed to be missed, aims to redefine the way people approach bathroom breaks during live events.

The commercial, created by Grey New York, features Angel Soft®'s Head Halo and mascot, Angel, who understands the struggle of choosing between staying glued to the screen or stepping away for a much-needed bathroom break. With the Big Game being one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, fans don't want to miss out on any of the iconic commercials or gameplay.

"Angel's core motivation is to end unnecessary tradeoffs and this year she's providing a potty-tunity so fans don't have to choose," said Rafael Garcia, VP and General Manager of Angel Soft® Bath Tissue. The brand recognizes that events are getting longer and it's becoming increasingly difficult for people to find a moment for restroom relief without missing out on something important.

To highlight this issue, Angel Soft® partnered with FOX Sports and its on-air personalities Julian Edelman and Charissa Thompson in an unexpected integration during a recent championship match-up between Philadelphia and Washington. In the clip, Thompson is seen looking for Edelman while he rushes back from a bathroom break just in time for kickoff. This partnership serves as a precursor to Angel's potty-tunities during the Big Game.

The commercial will air after the second quarter just before halftime, providing viewers with a perfectly timed opportunity to take a bathroom break without worrying about missing any crucial moments. "Life is full of tough choices, but bathroom breaks shouldn't be one of them!" said Angel. "With my potty-tunities, I'll have your back and ensure you never have to compromise or miss the moments that matter most."

According to a recent survey conducted by the Angel Soft® brand, 92% of people have had to hold off on going to the bathroom during live events just so they don't miss out on something. Additionally, 61% of people will rush themselves to avoid missing important moments, and 47% have even been late to events because of bathroom breaks.

But Angel isn't stopping with the Big Game. She's on a mission to provide well-timed bathroom breaks throughout the year during other can't-miss moments such as concerts, festivals, road trips, and movies. The brand is committed to improving the bathroom experience and ensuring that people no longer have to choose between holding it or taking a break.
