This definitive agreement marks a significant step for Greenlight as it expands its presence in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area and accelerates the deployment of its advanced fiber network.

The decision to acquire Loop Internet comes after Greenlight's announcement in April of its expansion into Pennsylvania, with plans to build fiber internet networks in both the Northeast and South-Central regions of the state. With this acquisition, Greenlight will be able to leverage Loop's existing network footprint and resources to further enhance its services and reach more consumers.

According to Jason Wasmanski, General Manager of Loop Internet, the partnership with Greenlight will not only benefit customers but also the local community. The transaction is expected to be finalized later this year, pending regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
