WASHINGTON - PennZone -- The Association of Farmworker Opportunity Programs' (AFOP) Children in the Fields Campaign (CIFC) is proud to announce that it is now accepting submissions for the 2020 Migrant & Seasonal Farmworker Children Essay & Art Contest. The theme for this year's contest is Seasons of Transformation and Triumph. Contest flyer and guidelines can be found in both English and Spanish on the AFOP website: www.afop.org/cif.

The Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker Children Essay and Art Contest is an opportunity for farmworker children all over the country to showcase their stories before a national audience.  In staging this contest, AFOP seeks to empower kids by amplifying their voices and to show America, through the children's work, the difficult realities that farmworker families face each and every day.  AFOP's hope is that this attention will spur action to provide better educational support for farmworker children.
