FLINT, Mich. - PennZone -- iMichigan Productions is thrilled to host the 2nd Film Appreciation Academy Conference (FAAC). This year's conference focuses on the smash-hit series "Stranger Things," offering attendees a unique opportunity to dissect the show's magic alongside industry giants.

This immersive event offers aspiring creators aged 13-25 interactive workshops, engaging panel discussions, invaluable insights into the art and craft of filmmaking and is designed to ignite their passion for filmmaking. Led by renowned experts, The FAAC will explore every facet of the filmmaking process, providing participants with a deep dive into the career pathways shaping the industry today. From scripting to animation, special effects to directing, attendees will have the opportunity to master their craft by learning from the very best in the business.

Highlighting this year's conference are two distinguished speakers: Russell Williams II, a two-time Oscar-winning sound mixer, and Myke Michaels, one of the renowned makeup artists and behind the iconic looks of "Stranger Things." Their participation will offer attendees a unique perspective on the creative processes and technical expertise required to excel in the film industry.

The FAAC aims to empower 200 students annually by providing a comprehensive overview of the filmmaking process. Attendees will be exposed to the latest industry trends, connected with professionals, and inspired to submit their films for the 2025 Flint Youth Film Festival.
