With societal norms changing as the number of global cases increasing, the demand for virtual mediation is rising as mediating parties prefer to remain isolated.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - PennZone -- The respiratory disease caused by coronavirus, first detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, has now been reported in over 50 locations internationally. The family of coronaviruses has been around for quite awhile, however the coronavirus disease 2019, or COVID-19, is a new strain of the virus.

Social behaviors have adjusted drastically. There has been less physical contact among social groups and a spike in digital communication. In the realm of mediation, one Florida mediation group already has the necessary protocols in place to deal with the increased need to limit individual exposure to those who may be asymptomatic.

Matthew Brickman, founder of iMediate Inc. stated, "In responding to the spread of the COVID-19, iMediate Inc. promises to work with our clients to address this growing public health crisis in a smart, strategic, and serious manner."

iMediate Inc. provides a virtual mediation platform with the following benefits:

• Your divorce or paternity action can still take place without leaving your home.
• There is no special software to install, click a specialized link emailed to you with your own password and log into a private online conference room.
• We can share and sign all documents electronically.
• The mediator can separate from the central conference room and meet with either party in a separate private room to discuss sensitive issues.
• If you come to an agreement only an electronic signature is required and the courts will process via electronic filing.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there is currently no vaccine to prevent COVID-19. The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. The CDC recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:
