MARIETTA, Ga. - PennZone -- Tella Firma Foundations and Green Clean Solar have announced a strategic partnership to prioritize metal recycling practices in the U.S. The goal is to support domestically recycled steel and keep it in the loop.

This collaboration will focus on steel recycling on foundation testing and preparation sites, particularly at solar and wind farms across the United States. In the U.S., more than 60% of raw steel comes from recycled "ferrous" scrap. Using scrap to make new steel helps conserve natural resources and energy and reduces emissions. The partnership signifies a step toward conscious construction practices. It marks a significant commitment to the circular economy in the renewable energy sector.

At the heart of this initiative is the shared vision of Tella Firma and Green Clean Solar to make a measurable environmental impact. With its pioneering foundation solutions designed for active soils, Tella Firma brings over a half-century of engineering excellence and patented technologies to the table. Green Clean Solar, renowned for its commitment to waste management in renewable energy, aligns perfectly with Tella Firma's ethos. Together, they aim to set new standards in the industry, demonstrating how collaborative efforts can lead to innovative and eco-friendly solutions.

"At Tella Firma, we understand the importance of a solid foundation in construction and environmental responsibility. Our partnership with Green Clean Solar marks a significant step towards promoting a circular economy, and it's the right thing to do to keep metal out of landfills," explained Eddie Basco, COO of Tella Firma.
