Philadelphia-area clothing company, Postcard Girls, announces a new line of ethical swimwear.

PHILADELPHIA - PennZone -- Countless news reports speak of the dangers of unethical clothing manufacturing. The Fair Trade Advocacy Office and the Clean Clothes Campaign continue to uncover cases of people around the world being underpaid and overworked, even in nations where minimum wage and worker safety laws have been established for decades. It may sound bleak, but an ethical swimwear brand known as Postcard Girls is on a mission to turn things around.

Per Merriam-Webster, "ethical" is defined as the expression of moral approval.  Postcard Girls cannot singlehandledly change the world with their dedication to providing ethically manufactured made clothing, but they are doing their part to set a new precedent among fashion manufacturers and consumers. Their clothing items are made by fairly paid workers in safe, comfortable working conditions.

Postcard Girls sells a number of products ranging from tees and crewneck sweatshirts to swimwear and accessories. Aside from their mission to do no harm to the planet, the founders are big proponents of travel and making memories. Their name brand was born when the founder visited the beautiful Cape Town, South Africa and sent a souvenir in the form of a postcard to a friend. Soon, that one postcard became 50, and the Postcard Girls concept took root. The brand's nature and spirit is inspired by the beauty of the landscapes, culture, and people of Cape Town.
