PITTSBURGH - PennZone -- Pollock Begg has been named a Tier One firm in Pittsburgh for family law and family law mediation by Best Law Firms for the 14th consecutive year.

The 2025 rankings recognize superiority and scope of knowledge in family law. Only 4% of law firms nationwide are considered for the prestigious Best Law Firms ranking. Pollock Begg has been a fixture in the rankings since the first edition published in 2010.

"Achieving a ranking in Best Law Firms signifies an elite level of high-quality legal practice," said Partner Stephanie L. Jablon. "Being recognized year after year by our clients and peers for our skill and experience in family law is an achievement we are incredibly proud of."

To be eligible, a firm must have at least one attorney who has received high enough peer-review ratings to be listed in the current edition of The Best Lawyers in America.

Earlier this year, a record-breaking 11 Pollock Begg attorneys earned spots in the 2025 edition, including partners Todd M. Begg, Daniel H. Glasser, Stephanie L. Jablon, Candice L. Komar, Elisabeth W. Molnar, David S. Pollock, Heather Trostle Smith, Brian C. Vertz and Joseph R. Williams, along with Senior Associate Alexandra L. Kovalchick and Associate Meghan L. Zupancic.

In addition, Pollock was selected as 2025 Pittsburgh "Lawyer of the Year" for both Family Law Mediation and Family Law Arbitration, based on particularly impressive voting averages received during the peer review assessments.

The Best Law Firms rankings are based on qualitative and quantitative data from peer and client reviews, producing a tiered hierarchy of top firms in the industry. The 2025 edition of  Best Law Firms includes rankings in 75 national practice areas and 127 metropolitan-based practice areas.
