Sias stated that it is important for kids and community members to see that they can belong everywhere decisions are made. He shared his experience walking with the Governor in this year's Pride Parade in Pittsburgh where he connected with LGBTQ kids and their families – especially trans kids and families he was privileged to meet. He concluded that together their Commission will help ensure that all Pennsylvanians have a seat at the table and see themselves reflected in state government.
