Proactive Peanut Puffs
Proactive Peanut Puff Deals for Small Business Saturday and Giving Tuesday

ATLANTA - PennZone -- Mission MightyMe (https://missionmightyme.com/), a revolutionary baby and children's food company on a mission to end the food allergy epidemic, will be offering cyber week deals and special offers on their Proactive Peanut Puffs, as well as a one-for-one, give-back campaign for food insecure families during the entire holiday season. Mission MightyMe's products were developed with the leading pediatric allergist to make it simple to include common food allergens, like peanuts, in infant diets, as feeding guidelines now recommend.

Mission MightyMe Co-founder, Dr. Gideon Lack, led the LEAP (Learning Early About Peanut Allergy) Study, which showed that starting peanut foods in the first year of life and consuming them regularly until age 5, can help prevent peanut allergies from developing by up to 86 percent. Lack co-founded Mission MightyMe with food allergy parents, Catherine and JJ Jaxon, who were eager to prevent another food allergy in their family when their youngest child was born. The couple and Lack joined forces with Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) co-founder, and fellow food allergy parent, Todd Slotkin, to develop a line of foods that make early and consistent allergen consumption safe and delicious for babies and kids.

Their first product, Proactive Peanut Puffs, are made with simple, organic, non-GMO ingredients, and contain more than 50% peanuts. They dissolve quickly for babies and taste delicious for big kids, making them both a nutritious, clean-label snack for the whole family and a great way to follow peanut allergy prevention guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that are based on the LEAP Study clinical trial that Lack led.

"Nuts and nut butters are a choking hazard for babies and the baby food industry is still mostly allergen-free, so we created a delicious, organic baby-friendly peanut puff to make it easy to keep peanut in the diet regularly, starting at an early age," said co-founder Catherine Jaxon. "One pouch of our Proactive Peanut Puffs per week meets the American Academy of Pediatrics Recommendations of 6g of peanut protein per week for high-risk infants. Because of our family's experience with food allergies, we are passionate about helping other families avoid them. "

The Small Business Saturday sale on November 27, 2021 includes 30% off any purchase, as well as 20% off the first three months of Subscribe & Save monthly subscriptions. On Giving Tuesday, Mission MightyMe will launch a holiday season-long, buy one + give one campaign, from November 30-December 31, 2021. For every case of peanut puffs sold, Mission MightyMe will donate a case to the Freestore Food Bank, a part of the Feeding America Network: the nation's largest domestic hunger-relief organization, working to connect people with food and end hunger.

"We are thrilled to partner with our incredible customers to provide nutritious snacks with purpose to food insecure families during the holiday season," said Mission MightyMe co-founder, JJ Jaxon. "Freestore Foodbank also has a unique program that focuses on infant nutrition and we love that this partnership is helping fulfill our dual missions of eliminating hunger and ending the food allergy epidemic."

In early 2022, Mission MightyMe will launch the first to market Proactive Nut Butter Puffs with Peanuts and Tree Nuts. To learn more about this innovative product release, sign up to be notified.
