MBA Mortgage DAV Honorable Mention Award for 2021 MBA Mortgage Team at the DAV 5K Boston MBA Mortgage Corporation
The local mortgage powerhouse continues leading the way on veteran workplace development and community-based engagement

QUINCY, Mass. - PennZone -- The Disabled American Veterans Organization (DAV) has selected MBA Mortgage Corporation to receive Honorable Mention for "Outstanding Small Employer of the Year." As a veteran-owned-and-operated mortgage brokerage, MBA works tirelessly to offer professional opportunities for our nation's bravest men & women.

This year marks the second consecutive time that MBA Mortgage has received an honorable mention in this category. Other accolades include MBA's President & Owner, Bob Barlow, awarded the DAV Department of Massachusetts 2019 Disabled Veteran of the Year Award.

Over the years, MBA Mortgage has raised well over $100,000 for DAV-related efforts. At the statewide level, MBA regularly supports the DAV Department of Massachusetts through various fundraising efforts. The Quincy-based mortgage brokerage regularly places in among the top national fundraisers for the DAV while also supporting and participating in the DAV MA's Annual 5K Run and Golf Classic.

As Stephen "Butch" Whitehead noted in his congratulatory letter to MBA President & Owner Bob Barlow: "Securing meaningful employment is a cornerstone for a veteran, especially a disabled veteran, to achieving their piece of the American dream."
