A new digital asset hedge fund, MV Global Opportunity Fund SP, has been launched via CV5 Digital SPC.

GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands - PennZone -- A new digital asset hedge fund, MV Global Opportunity Fund SP, has been launched via CV5 Digital SPC. This fund employs a dynamic investment strategy aimed at achieving absolute returns within the evolving Web3 and blockchain theme. Leveraging discretionary investment decisions based on fundamental analysis and an institutional-grade research and due diligence process, the Fund capitalizes on pure alpha plays, focusing on investments in liquid and semi-liquid digital assets and SAFTs.

The investment strategy adopts both a top-down and bottom-up research process, considering macroeconomic conditions, on-chain analytics, and momentum/trend factors to inform decision-making. The Fund invests in a diversified portfolio of digital assets, emphasizing tokens of critical infrastructure and user applications within the Web3 ecosystem.

Lee Pickavance, Group CEO of MV Global and Managing Partner of MV Capital: "We are thrilled to launch the MV Global Opportunity Fund SP, a testament to our commitment to pioneering investments in the Web3 and blockchain space. By leveraging our extensive dealflow and focusing on both liquid and semi-liquid positions, we aim to provide our investors with exceptional growth opportunities in the rapidly evolving digital asset landscape."

The Fund aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation while managing risks associated with market volatility and the performance of underlying securities. Up to 30% of the Fund's AUM is allocated to semi-liquid positions in SAFTs, with these investments made shortly before the token generation event (TGE). The remainder of the portfolio is invested in liquid digital assets or OTC positions expected to become liquid within 12 months. This strategy highlights our expertise in investing in liquid positions and capitalizing on unique dealflow from MV Global.

MV Global Opportunity Fund SP is aimed at professional and sophisticated investors, supported by leading service providers with a core focus on the governance and compliance expected of institutional investors globally. NAV Consulting serves as the fund administrator, Fireblocks provides digital assets custody infrastructure, and MHA Cayman is the auditor. MV Global has partnered with CV5 Capital, an industry-leading hedge fund platform manager, to ensure the highest quality services and operational excellence.
