Innovative Environmental Technologies, Inc. (IET) has executed a "Stock Purchase Agreement" with the principals of AXXELLA, LLC. in which a minority ownership in IET was sold to the AXXELLA principals. The IET integration into the AXXELLA network will provide to AXXELLA access to the capabilities and technologies practiced by IET while providing to IET access to the Blue Ocean real estate development opportunities and the AXXELLA family of companies in teamings.

PIPERSVILLE, Pa. & BALTIMORE - PennZone -- Since 1998,  IET has been recognized as a leader in technologies for the remediation of groundwaters impacted by various industrial solvents, heavy metals, petroleum hydrocarbons and pesticides,

Today, IET takes the next step in providing the direction for the environmental remediation industry, teaming with progressive real estate/brownfield developers,  and a network of parallel companies.   These strategic alliances will propel the maturation of the environmental contracting and remediation market into the 21st century by establishing a model of collaboration for others to follow.

Comparatively, the environmental remediation industry is in its infancy.  Techniques, technologies, accepted processes and the expectations for participating companies is evolving as the industry matures.  The evolution of alliances outside of the current, loose contractor/consultant/product supplier relationships, represents a natural, yet unique progression, meeting the needs of both the environmental remediation industry and the brownfield development markets.

The collaboration between these groups as equity partners is both innovative and logical.;  By creating a network of synergistic companies with diverse capabilities, shared objectives and common stakeholders, collaborative projects may be undertaken.

"This is the next step in our industry" says Michael Scalzi, president of IET.  "We are excited and energized by the opportunities our new alliances represent.  This is an innovative and progressive approach to uniting the various contracting capabilities necessary for the economic restoration of manufacturing legacy sites.  We look forward to participating in the evaluation and assessment of the economies associated with identifying underutilized properties and returning those properties to contributing elements of regional economies."
