HomeCentris Acquires Agencies in Philadelpia and Harrisburg, PA

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - PennZone -- HomeCentris Healthcare, LLC ("HHC"), Maryland's leading provider of home care services, today announced it has acquired two new agencies in Pennsylvania and expects to begin serving new clients by May 1, 2021.

In Philadelphia, HomeCentris acquired From the Heart Philadelphia and will be relocating its offices to Bala Cynwyd, just northwest of Philadelphia.  From this office, the company will serve clients in Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia, Schuylkill, and York counties.  In Harrisburg, HomeCentris acquired Multi-Care Services.  The company will be moving its offices just outside downtown Harrisburg and will serve clients in Adams, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, New Cumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, and York Counties.  Both agencies will initially specialize in serving Pennsylvania's Medicaid clients through their existing contracts with UPMC, Keystone/Amerihealth, PA Health and Wellness.   The agencies will also serve veterans and clients with private sources of funding.  Eventually, the agencies will obtain Medicare skilled home health licenses.

HomeCentris offers a full continuum of in-home health services designed to allow seniors to remain safe and independent in their homes and avoid moving to facility-based care. HomeCentris has been operating in Maryland since 2000, and these new locations will continue HomeCentris' efforts to become a leading home care company throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

"This is an exciting expansion for HomeCentris Healthcare as we fulfill our mission to 'empower clients to remain in the community.'  Until today, we have operated exclusively in Maryland.  However, we believe the Harrisburg and Philadelphia markets will be good for us and for our clients and managed care partners.", said Matt Auman, HomeCentris' CEO.  "We will be starting with personal care services but will ultimately be adding our skilled home health and primary care services so that we can offer our full HomeCentris 360 model in each market."

Both offices are open and have begun recruiting high quality caregivers.
