Over several appointments, Dr. Lang will work with patients to adjust and reline the dentures until they fit comfortably.

Implant overdentures are a more involved process and more expensive than traditional methods. However, they offer stability not found with conventional dentures. Implant overdentures start at $2,750. This price includes two implants that are surgically placed on the upper or lower jaw. Then, the denture can snap onto the implants. The more implants, the less movement will occur when eating.

"There is a type of denture for every age, every budget, and every need," adds Dr. Lang.
