~ OCLI Vision, a leading eye care practice managed by Spectrum Vision Partners, has announced the addition of Dr. Talia Shoshany to their team of esteemed ophthalmologists. Dr. Shoshany, a board-certified specialist in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery, will begin seeing patients at Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut | OCLI Vision locations in Fairfield, Stamford, and East Haven starting September 2, 2025.

Dr. Shoshany's impressive credentials include graduating summa cum laude and as valedictorian from Dartmouth College before earning her medical degree with honors from Harvard Medical School. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia where she received numerous accolades, including the Shipman Research Award. Following her residency, she pursued advanced fellowship training in cornea, refractive, and external disease under the mentorship of renowned surgeon Dr. Eric Donnenfeld.

With over 20 peer-reviewed publications and contributions to book chapters under her belt, Dr. Shoshany is a highly respected figure in the field of ophthalmology. She has also presented at various national conferences on topics such as keratoconus management and cataract surgery innovations. As a clinical investigator in several FDA trials, she is actively involved in shaping the future of anterior segment surgery and vision correction.

Dr. Shoshany's expertise includes advanced cataract surgery using femtosecond laser technology and premium intraocular lenses (IOLs), laser vision correction procedures such as LASIK and PRK, corneal transplantation techniques like DSAEK and DMEK, management of keratoconus with cross-linking and topography-guided PRK, as well as dry eye treatments utilizing the latest technologies and therapeutics.
