Jazz Evening at Seven Oaks Country Club on May 7 to Benefit Our Lady of Fatima School, Saint Monica Catholic Academy, and Sts. Peter & Paul School.

PennZone -- A distinctive evening of live jazz, fine dining, and community generosity is coming to Beaver County this spring. Blue Notes & Blessings, a jazz benefit evening supporting Catholic education, will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at Seven Oaks Country Club, 132 Lisbon Road, Beaver, Pennsylvania.

The event will bring together Pittsburgh's finest jazz artists for an elegant evening benefiting three local Catholic schools: Our Lady of Fatima School, Saint Monica Catholic Academy, and Sts. Peter & Paul School. Tickets are $150 per guest, with cocktail attire or evening dress encouraged.

Grammy Award-Winning Headliners

The evening will be headlined by Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Eric DeFade and acclaimed vocalist Kelley DeFade, who will perform two full sets of jazz classics alongside a band of all-star players. The program will feature selections honoring Mary Lou Williams—the legendary Pittsburgh jazz pianist and composer whose conversion to Catholicism profoundly shaped her later work—as well as the legendary Dave Brubeck.

An Unforgettable Evening

Beyond the music, guests will enjoy exceptional food and handcrafted cocktails in a warm, sophisticated atmosphere. Adding a distinctive touch, noted local cigar sommelier Vince Orend will be on hand with custom cigars rolled especially for the occasion—or, for those feeling adventurous, the opportunity to roll their own under his expert guidance. The evening concludes with coffee and desserts.

"Our goal for this unique event is to broaden both awareness and support for our amazing Catholic schools in Beaver County. It's going to be an incredible evening of world-class music, great food, and warm hospitality that celebrates Catholic contributions to culture, community, and education."

--Theresa Ross, Regional Advancement and Marketing Coordinator, South Regional Catholic Elementary Schools
