PHILADELPHIA - PennZone -- In collaboration with Lacy Maxwell Experiential, Bennett Awards proudly unveiled a custom-designed award for the PGA's 2025 Truist Championship, held May 8–11 at the storied Philadelphia Cricket Club – Wissahickon Golf Course. With a $20 million purse and golf's top players in attendance, the event demanded a trophy as unique as its setting—and Bennett delivered.

Inspired by the tournament's historic venue—originally a cricket club—the trophy was designed in the form of a cricket bat, standing nearly regulation size at 30 inches tall. Crafted from solid high-polish aluminum, the piece features a sleek, flawless finish and a stylized yet authentic silhouette, complete with a rounded leather-wrapped handle. Uniquely, the award is removable from its base, a departure from traditional mounted trophies.

The custom maple stand, engineered by Bennett's team and handmade by a local wood craftsman, balances both form and function. "It took several rounds of prototyping" said Rachel Young, Project Manager at Bennett Awards, "but it all came together beautifully. The presentation was stunning—up on the pedestal, surrounded by flowers, and in the hands of the winner, it really honored the spirit of the event."

The trophy was awarded to Austrian golfer Sepp Straka, who clinched his fourth PGA Tour title with a two-stroke victory. Following the tournament, his name will be engraved on the bat, commemorating this landmark win.

Lacy Maxwell Experiential's vision—grounded in deep storytelling and experiential detail—was integral to the trophy's concept. Their attention to detail extended beyond design, including a request for a custom Pelican case with precision-cut inserts for safe transportation of the prototype. Their team's experiential expertise played a key role in aligning the award with the tournament's sense of place and purpose.
