CLEARWATER, Fla., Oct. 23, 2024 ~ BayCare, one of the leading healthcare systems in the nation, has recently announced the appointment of Kristen A. Vogl, PT, DPT, MBA, as its new vice president of service lines. With over two decades of experience in both clinical and administrative roles in various healthcare settings, Vogl brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new position.

Prior to joining BayCare, Vogl served as the senior vice president of operations at Jefferson Health in Philadelphia since 2023. In this role, she oversaw the Musculoskeletal Service Line and Post-Acute Service Line while also collaborating with other service lines. She also provided strategic leadership for Jefferson Methodist Hospital and spearheaded initiatives to improve community health care and partnerships with academic institutions. Vogl's experience also includes leading hospital consolidations, restructuring operations, and implementing specialized healthcare programs to enhance patient care and satisfaction.

According to Co-Chief Operating Officer Lou Galdieri, Vogl's extensive experience and strategic vision make her an excellent addition to BayCare's leadership team. "We are thrilled to have Kristen on board as we continue our commitment to providing quality care and driving organizational growth," said Galdieri.

She will focus on identifying best practices and utilizing data-driven insights to improve care quality and reduce variation in clinical services. Additionally, she will lead efforts in developing Clinical Institutes and Comprehensive Care Centers across acute, post-acute, and ambulatory care settings.

"I am honored to join BayCare's mission of transforming healthcare through quality, innovation, and teamwork," said Vogl. "I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of BayCare's service lines while ensuring that our patients receive the highest standards of care."

Vogl holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Temple University, a Master of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Scranton, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Holy Family University.

With Vogl's extensive experience and leadership skills, BayCare is confident that she will play a crucial role in optimizing their service lines and enhancing patient care across their facilities. As BayCare continues to strive towards providing exceptional healthcare services to the communities of West Central Florida, Vogl's appointment is a significant step towards achieving this goal.
