Regenerative Fuel Cell System Tec-Masters
Pioneering closed-loop energy systems to enable sustainable lunar habitation.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - PennZone -- Tec-Masters, Inc. (TMI), a leading provider of flight hardware systems, advanced engineering, and scientific solutions for government and commercial space programs, announced today its collaboration with Honda and Sierra Space to support the in-space demonstration of Honda's high-differential pressure water electrolysis system aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
The experiment will evaluate a key component of the Honda regenerative fuel cell system, which is a closed-loop energy cycle that produces oxygen, hydrogen, and electricity to support missions in space. Tec-Masters will serve as the ISS technology expert for the mission, guiding the system through NASA's rigorous integration and safety certification process and supporting operational execution aboard the ISS.

Expanding Horizons for Space Sustainability
As Honda looks to support future lunar surface missions with clean, efficient, and recyclable energy systems, Tec-Masters brings decades of ISS payload and flight hardware experience to ensure this pioneering technology can operate safely and reliably in the unique conditions of microgravity.
"This mission represents the type of global collaboration and innovation needed to expand sustainable human presence in space," said Reggie Spivey, Chief Operating Officer of Tec-Masters. "We are excited to support Honda's vision and honored to bring our ISS expertise to this groundbreaking test. At Tec-Masters, we believe in advancing science that serves humanity—on Earth and beyond."
