Twin Peaks Charter Academy of Longmont, CO has caught the attention of and recently received praise from both local and national school ranking authorities. Not only was Twin Peaks (TCPA) ranked number two out of eight high schools in their district (St. Vrain Valley School District) by Colorado's Report Card, but TCPA was also recognized nationally by the US News and World Report as the #1 high school in the St. Vrain Valley School District.

LONGMONT, Colo. - PennZone -- TCPA has received these highly-acclaimed ratings based on their success in preparing their students for college. The college-readiness program they provide to their high school students creates a strong academic foundation, allowing students to enter college with confidence.

However, college preparatory academics and readiness doesn't just start in highschool for students of TCPA. TCPA is a preK-12 school, is the only K-12 academy in the St. Vrain Valley School District, and is also the only classical academy in the greater Longmont area.

Twin Peaks stands out in the district by offering classical education, which focuses on building a student's educational foundation on mastering literacy and numeracy. Classical education, also known as education based in the traditions, focuses on learning through written and spoken words, rather than technology fortified with images, videos, television, and movies.

TCPA believes that if a student can master reading, writing, and math, they will be confident and successful in whichever profession they choose. The teachers and staff at TCPA tailor their education protocols to provide students with a literature-rich and traditional education, as opposed to an education predominantly led by 1:1 technology. TCPA believes that digital learning should never replace great books and great teaching.

Colorado parents, unlike parents in many other states, have the unique and fortunate ability to choose where their children receive their Pre K-12 education. This choice determines the foundation that sets up their children with the tools they will use to build their future.
